Pokémon Drawing Challenge

PDC: #149 – ‘Toothless the Dragonite’

Really, really thankful for my mum and dad – for a whole lot of things – but feeling it especially this week because they got me a ‘Wacom’ drawing tablet for my bday!!! ☺️

Seemed fitting to christen it with a Pokémon drawing — and who better than the OG dragon: Dragonite!  I’ve got a LvL 100 one in my Pokémon Bank called ‘Toothless’, and he’s one of my absolute favourites (also got another one called ‘LeBron’!)

Hope you like the drawing — really enjoying getting to grips with the tablet! (:

‘My Pokémon Collection’ (RARMSTAR on Youtube!)

Made a brief return to my Youtube channel this week to record a video looking at my entire Pokémon collection, which has been almost 20 years in the making.  Forgot how fun it is to talk to myself about something I love for nearly half an hour!

Hopefully going to make some more videos over the next few weeks/months: gotta go something while I’m looking in earnest for a job after university… (:

“Pokémon: gotta catch ’em all…”

Pokémon is the greatest video game franchise of all-time.  Search your feelings: you know it to be true!

I’ve been playing these games since I was four years old and we were still living in Calgary, Canada.  Even now, ‘Pokémon Red Version’ is still my go-to game if I’m ever feeling ill and in need of a pick-me-up.

I’m kinda sad that I’ve only had time to play through Pokémon Sun (my chosen version out of the two most recent entries in the franchise) just the once.  Normally I blitz through each new game at least a couple of extra times: to find out everything I can about all the new Pokémon, and about the new world I have to explore.

So, out of remorse for the good old days of levelling up my Charizard to level 100 with reckless abandon, and throwing 65 Ultra Balls at Mewtwo until I made him my own, here’s a drawing of the ‘Gen. I’ games: Red Version, Blue Version and Special Pikachu Yellow Version.  They will always hold a special place in my heart (and on my shelf of games!)…

Ps: if you want more Pokémon, my ‘rarmstar’ YouTube channel has a whole bunch of them!  (https://www.youtube.com/user/theRArmStAr)
